But I am currently living in Trincomalee District.  My father's name is Mr. Karunarathna. He is a farmer. My mother's name is Mrs. Sumanavathi. She is a house wife . I have an elder sister who is serving in Sri Lanka Air Force.    I have a background in education field, where I have experience in Communication studies. Although these rainforests cover only a tiny 6% of the Earth's surface, They are home to more than half of the world's plant and animal species. These rainforests are humid environment in nature. It is estimated that on average these rainforests receive more than 70 inches of rain annually. These lush, green habitats play a critical role in regulating the global climate, producing oxygen, and providing resources for medicine and food.
